Verizon announces offering of fixed-rate notes via three bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 17 – Verizon Communications Inc. is planning to sell fixed-rate notes, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are non-callable for the first five years and then are callable at par.

BNP Paribas SA, Taipei Branch, Citibank Taiwan Ltd. and Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC, Taipei Branch are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

On Wednesday, Verizon priced a $1 billion 1.5% 10-year green note at 99.889.

BofA Securities Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Loop Capital Markets LLC and Siebert Williams Shank & Co. LLC were the bookrunners for Wednesday’s note, the proceeds of which will be used for financing or refinancing eligible green investments.

Verizon is a New York-based telecommunications company.
