Chicago, Nov. 22 – Banco de Mexico sold Ps. 5 billion of bonds in an auction on Tuesday.
The bank accepted bids for Ps. 4 billion of Bondes D with a term of 1,820 days. The bonds priced at 98.93447 for a spread of 24 basis points. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 12.85 billion.
The bank also accepted bids for Ps. 1 billion of 7¾% Bonos due 2042. The bonds priced at 100.89870 to yield 7.67%. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 5.29 billion.
