Venus Remedies' board of directors approves issue of foreign currency convertible bonds

Tampa, Fla., March 17 - Venus Remedies Ltd. has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that the company's board of directors, during its meeting held on Thursday, approved the issue of foreign currency convertible bonds and/or global depositary receipts not exceeding $20 million.

The company said it has scheduled its general meeting for shareholder approval on April 15.

Venus Remedies, a pharmaceutical company located in Haryana, India, specializes in anticancer medicines, cephalosporin and carbapenem injectables.
