Vectren Utility Holdings files $300 million shelf for debt securities

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 1 - Vectren Utility Holdings, Inc. filed a $300 million debt securities shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration also covers guarantees of the debt securities, which are not convertible.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The subsidiary of energy company Vectren Corp. is based in Evansville, Ind. It is the intermediate holding company for Vectren's three operating public utilities.
