Moody’s revises Vattenfall to stable

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook on the long-term A3 issuer and senior unsecured ratings of Vattenfall AB and the Baa2 hybrid instrument ratings to stable from negative.

The agency affirmed all of these ratings and the Prime-2 short-term rating.

Moody’s said the action reflects the positive shift in Vattenfall's business risk profile as the company continues progress with delivery of its strategy aimed at expansion in contracted renewables and regulated activities, coupled with the agency’s expectation that the company's ratios will recover to the levels commensurate with the current ratings.
