Vanguard Long-Term Investment-Grade Fund manager Hill to retire

Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 12 – Vanguard Long-Term Investment-Grade Fund manager Lucius Hill of Wellington Management Co. will retire in June 2016, according to a press release.
Hill has advised the fund since 2008.
A senior managing director of the firm, he joined Wellington in 1993 and has spent more than 30 years in the investment management industry.
Upon his retirement, portfolio manager Scott St. John will assume sole responsibility for Wellington’s portion of the fund. St. John, a senior managing director at Wellington, joined the portfolio management team in 2014 and has worked in investment management since 1995.
Investment management company Vanguard’s headquarters are in Valley Forge, Pa.
