Citi plans trigger performance notes linked to Vanguard FTSE EM fund

San Luis Obispo, Calif., July 7 – Citigroup Inc. plans to price 0% trigger performance securities due July 31, 2020 linked to the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 132.5% to 142.5% of any fund gain. The exact participation rate will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the fund funds by up 25% and will be fully exposed to any losses if the fund finishes below the 75% trigger level.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and UBS Financial Services Inc. are the agents.

The notes will price July 28 and settle July 31.

The Cusip number is 17323Q866.
