New Issue: RBC sells $335,000 trigger performance notes linked to Vanguard FTSE EM

Chicago, Oct. 31 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $335,000 of 0% trigger performance securities due Oct. 31, 2017 linked to the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the fund finishes at or above the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 117% the return.

If the fund falls by up to the 75% trigger level, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to any losses.
