Correction: Barclays prices $8.98 million PLUS linked to Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF

Barclays issued an amended 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that corrected the issue size of its Performance Leveraged Upside Securities linked to the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund. Madison, Wis., Sept. 4 - Barclays Bank plc priced $8.98 million of 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Oct. 6, 2014 linked to the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 300% of any fund gain, up to a maximum return of 22%. Investors will be fully exposed to any losses.

Barclays is the agent with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC handling distribution.
