UBS plans trigger performance notes on Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets

San Luis Obispo, Calif., April 30 - UBS AG, London Branch plans to price 0% trigger performance securities due May 31, 2018 linked to the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the fund return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 111% to 121% of the fund return. The exact participation rate will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 25% and will be fully exposed to losses from the initial level if the fund falls by more than 25%.

The notes (Cusip: 90271C361) are expected to price May 28 and settle May 31.

UBS Financial Services Inc. and UBS Investment Bank will act as agents.
