Valspar files automatic shelf registration to issue debt securities

Chicago, Jan. 10 - Valspar Corp. registered to sell an undisclosed amount of debt securities, stock and warrants in an S-3 ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The securities may be structured as convertibles.

The coating and paint manufacturer is based in Minneapolis.
