DBRS stabilizes Valley National trend

DBRS said it revised the trend to stable from negative and confirmed the ratings of Valley National Bancorp, including the A (low) long-term issuer rating.

“The revised trend to stable reflects DBRS Morningstar’s view that that the economic impact from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic on Valley’s asset quality and capital will continue to be manageable,” the agency said in a press release.
