Validus Holdings plans to sell $250 million of 30-year bonds Thursday

New York, Jan. 20 - Validus Holdings, Ltd. announced an offering of $250 million in 30-year senior unsecured notes on Wednesday, with pricing expected on Thursday, an informed source said.

Goldman Sachs & Co., Deutsche Bank Securities and J.P. Morgan Securities are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The issuer provides reinsurance and insurance through subsidiaries and is based in Bermuda.
