U.S. Shipping Partners unsecured creditors committee appointed

Portland, Ore., May 15 - U.S. Shipping Partners, LP's official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Thursday by U.S. trustee Diana G. Adams, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The committee members are Paul Gridley of New York; Gregory Cox of Guarino & Cox, LLC in Covington, La.; and Richard Bludworth of Bludworth Marine, based in Houston.

U.S. Shipping is an Edison, N.J.-based provider of long-haul marine transportation services. It filed for bankruptcy on April 30. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-12711
