Prospect News reports six new defaults for week of March 12-March 18

Pittsburgh, March 20 – Prospect News reported six new defaults for the period of March 12 through March 18.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings made by USA Synthetic Fuel Corp., Federation Employment & Guidance Service (FEGS), Sobelmar Antwerp NV, Chassix Holdings Inc. and Standard Register Co. and a Chapter 15 bankruptcy filing made by Daebo International Shipping Co., Ltd.

In addition, Prospect News reported a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing made by Quicksilver Resources Inc. and a bankruptcy filing made by Dannemora Mineral AB. However, Quicksilver previously defaulted in connection with a Feb. 17 missed interest payment, and Dannemora previously defaulted in connection with Sept. 22, 2013 and March 22, 2014 missed interest payments and a May 2014 reconstruction.

Prospect News has reported 39 defaults so far in 2015, including 21 Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings, six missed interest payments, five Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act filings, two each of distressed exchanges and Chapter 15 bankruptcy filings and one each of bankruptcy filings, missed principal and interest payments and missed principal payments.
