US Airways, GE extend deadline for filing plan of reorganization
New York, April 14 - US Airways Group, Inc. said it has agreed with GE Capital Aviation Services and GE Engine Services to extend the deadline for it to file a plan of reorganization to the end of April from April 15.
The Arlington, Va., airline said the change is to allow continuing discussions about its progress in finalizing a business plan.
US Airways filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 12, 2004 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-13819.
