US Airways posts $58.37 million loss in November

Washington, Dec. 23 - US Airways Group Inc. reported a $58.37 million loss in November on sales of $555.73 million, according to its monthly operating report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission Thursday.
The operating loss for the Arlington, Va.-based airline was $27.39 million.
Cash and cash equivalents on Nov. 30 were $822.87 million.
US Airways filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 13 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-13819.
