Uroplasty's FDA-approved nerve stimulation device for overactive bladder now available

Charlotte, N.C., July 5 - Uroplasty, Inc. said its next-generation Urgent PC Neuromodulation System is now available for sale in the United States.

The non-surgical nerve stimulation device for the treatment of overactive bladder symptoms received Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance on Monday.

An estimated 34 million Americans suffer from overactive bladder symptoms of urinary urgency, urinary frequency or urge incontinence, according to a company news release.

Uroplasty is a medical device company based in Minnetonka, Minn.
