Uranerz Energy files $50 million shelf covering stock, debt securities

Knoxville, Tenn., July 10 - Uranerz Energy Corp. filed a $50 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers debt securities, common shares, warrants, subscription receipts and units.

The debt securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for acquisitions, exploration and development, working capital, debt repayment or for other general corporate purposes.

Vancouver, B.C.-based Uranerz is an oil and natural gas exploration company.
