Liberty Global's UPC to place additional €60 million of senior notes due 2018 in private offering

Boston, April 22 - Liberty Global, Inc. subsidiary UPC Holding BV plans to price up to €60 million of senior notes due 2018 in a private placement, the company announced on Wednesday.

The notes will be part of the same series as a planned issue of notes that are included in an exchange offer and will be sold with an original issue discount. UPC is offering non-U.S. holders one new note due 2018 plus €40 for each 7.75% note due Jan. 15, 2014 and one new notes due 2018 plus €60 for each 8.625% note due Jan. 15, 2014. The company will take acceptances for up to €200 million principal amount of the old notes.

Liberty Global is an Englewood, Colo.-based provider of video, voice and broadband internet services.
