Lancer sells more than 1.5 million shares of Universal Insurance

Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 31 - Universal Insurance Holdings Inc. investor Marty Steinberg, as the receiver of Lancer Offshore, Inc., reported the sale of 1,507,588 shares of Universal Insurance common stock between July 16 and Oct. 24 and an additional 114,250 shares on Aug. 14, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The reporting person owns 4,292,535 shares, or 10.99%, of the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., insurance company.
