Universal Health to redeem $400 million 5% notes due 2026

Los Angeles, Aug. 10 – Universal Health Services, Inc. announced it plans to redeem all of its $400 million outstanding 5% senior secured notes due 2026 on or around Sept. 13.

The company plans to repay the 2026 notes using proceeds from a two-tranche offering of senior secured notes due September 2026 and January 2032, according to a news release.

Proceeds from the new notes will also be used to repay debt under the company’s senior credit facility and for general corporate purposes.

Universal Health is a hospital and health care services company based in King of Prussia, Pa.
