United Western Bancorp gets 31-day extension to file plan, statement

Wilmington, Del., March 11 - United Western Bancorp, Inc. received approval for a 31-day extension for filing a second amended Chapter 11 plan and disclosure statement, according to documents filed March 11 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado.

The new deadline is April 8.

A hearing for approval of the disclosure statement was postponed to May 2 from April 3.

United Western is the holding company for a Denver community-based bank. The company filed for bankruptcy on March 2, 2012 under Chapter 11 case number 12-13815.
