United Microelectronics buys back $20 million of 0% convertible bonds

Minneapolis, Nov. 22 - United Microelectronics said it repurchased $20 million of its currency-linked zero-coupon convertible bonds due 2016 (ISIN XS0628626375) on Nov. 10.

Following the repurchase, $450 million of the notes remains outstanding.

Based in Taipei, Taiwan, United Microelectronics is a semiconductor manufacturer.
