New Issue: Singapore's United Envirotech sells S$50 million 7¼% notes due 2016

Madison, Wis., Sept. 3 - United Envirotech Ltd. said it issued S$50 million of 7¼% notes due 2016 at par on Monday.

The fixed-rate notes were issued under United Envirotech's $300 million multicurrency medium-term note program established on June 13.

Standard Chartered Bank is the lead manager for the notes.

Proceeds will be used to refinance existing borrowings, for investments and acquisitions and for general working capital and corporate purposes.

The Singapore-based environmental solutions company focuses on water and wastewater treatment.
