UAL pass-through trustee appeals plan confirmation order

Pittsburgh, Jan. 30 - UAL Corp. pass-through trustee Wells Fargo Bank, NA appealed the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois' order confirming UAL's plan of reorganization, according to a Monday court filing.

The plan was confirmed on Jan. 20.

The United Retirement Benefits Protection Association also appealed the plan confirmation on Friday.

UAL, the Chicago-based parent of United Airlines, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 9, 2002. Its Chapter 11 case number is 02-48191.
