United Air Lines to sell $700 million secured-, second-lien notes

St. Louis, March 9 - United Air Lines Inc. disclosed in a Tuesday presentation to investors that it plans to raise $700 million of proceeds in April via the sale of senior secured notes and senior second-lien notes.

The Chicago-based air carrier, a subsidiary of UAL Corp., plans to use the proceeds to enhance its liquidity.
