Uniforet noteholders will appeal court's decision to approve reorganization plan

Chicago, June 6 - Uniforet Inc. said a group of U.S. noteholders will appeal the judgment executed by the Superior Court of Montreal on May 16, which approved the company's plan of arrangement under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act. The noteholders plan to appeal on June 12.

Uniforet intends to contest the motion for leave to appeal.

Montreal-based Uniforet manufactures softwood lumber.
