Moody's alters Italian financial view to negative

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook to negative and affirmed the deposit, senior unsecured debt and issuer ratings, where applicable, of several Italian financial institutions.

“This action follows the outlook change to negative from stable on the Italian government's Baa3 debt rating,” Moody’s said in a press release.

The institutions are Intesa Sanpaolo SpA, UniCredit SpA, BPER Banca SpA, Banca Carige SpA, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti SpA and Credito Emiliano SpA.
