Ultra Petroleum settlement resolves last objection to effective plan

Pittsburgh, July 6 – Ultra Petroleum Corp. entered into a mutual stipulation and settlement agreement with Cross Sound Management that fully resolves the ongoing litigation between the parties and resolves the last remaining objection to the implementation of Ultra’s plan of reorganization.

Ultra Petroleum, a Houston-based independent exploration and production company, emerged from bankruptcy on April 12.
