Ultra Petroleum seven-member unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, May 5 – Ultra Petroleum Corp.’s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Thursday by U.S. Trustee Judy A. Robbins, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

The committee members are Sandra E. Horwitz of indenture trustee Delaware Trust Co. of Wilmington, Del.; Jane Orndahl of lender agent JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA of New York; Thomas E. Luther of Prudential Insurance Co. of America, based in Chicago; Elba Para of Halliburton Energy Services of Houston; Matthew Sheehy of Rockies Express Pipeline LLC of Leawood, Kan.; Mike Braverman, representing Sunoco Partners Marketing & Terminals LP; and Doyle and Margaret Hartman of Midland, Texas.

Ultra Petroleum is a Houston-based independent exploration and production company. The company filed bankruptcy on April 29 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas under Chapter 11 case number 16-32202.
