Prospect News reports one new default for week of March 23-March 29

Pittsburgh, March 31 – Prospect News reported one new default for the week of March 23 through March 29 in the form of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing made by Westinghouse Electric Co., LLC.

In addition, Prospect News reported UkrLandFarming plc’s missing interest payment on its 10 7/8% notes due 2018. However, the company previously defaulted in connection with a March 29, 2016 missed interest payment.

So far in 2017, Prospect News has reported 44 defaults, including 29 Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings, seven missed interest payments, four missed principal payments, two distressed exchanges and one each of Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings and recapitalizations.
