UBS names new distressed and high-yield hires

New York, July 24 - UBS has hired a few new people for the distressed and high-yield markets, with all of them having started this week, according to a market source.

Tom Howard has been named as distressed desk analyst. Previously, Howard worked at Par IV, the source said.

Paul Deen has named as distressed salesperson. Deen came to UBS from Bear Sterns.

Mike Nitka has been named as distressed sourcer. Nitka previously worked at Credit Suisse.

And, lastly, David Ricciardi has been named as high-yield trader. Ricciardi came from KBC, the source added.
