Twinlab sale to IdeaSphere completed

New York, Dec. 22 - Twinlab Corp. completed the sale of its assets along with those of Twin Laboratories Inc. and Twin Laboratories (UK) Ltd. to IdeaSphere Inc.

IdeaSphere's bid of $65 million emerged as the highest and best in an auction.

Twinlab filed for Chapter 11 protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on Sept. 4.

Hauppauge, N.Y.-based Twinlab manufactures vitamins and health products. Grand Rapids, Mich.-based IdeaSphere provides natural and organic supplements, foods and beverages.
