S&P rates Tulare County, Calif., notes SP-1+

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an SP-1+ rating to the California Statewide Communities Development Authority's $55 million series 2008B1 tax and revenue anticipation notes due July 31, 2009, issued on behalf of Tulare County, Calif.

The notes will fund seasonal cash deficits during fiscal 2009.
