Tropicana unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, May 15 - Tropicana Entertainment, LLC's official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court the District of Delaware.

The committee members include Niraj R. Ganatra of International Union, UAW, Detroit; Dale P. Schaffeld of Fixture Dimensions Inc., Middletown, Ohio; Geht K. Culver of International Gaming Technology, Reno, Nev.; Craig Sullivan of Park Cattle Co., Minden, Nev.; Patrick J. Healy of Wilmington Trust Co., Wilmington, Del.; Claudia G. Regen of U.S. Foodservice, Inc., Columbia, Md.; and Matthew J. Ferko of Mutual Shares Fund, Short Hills, N.J.

Tropicana, a Fort Mitchell, Ky.-based gaming entertainment provider, filed for bankruptcy on May 5. The Chapter 11 case number is 08-10856.
