Tronox posts $14.9 million March net loss, net sales of $49.6 million

Pittsburgh, April 23 - Tronox Inc. reported a $14.9 million net loss for March on $49.6 million in net sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The company had $22.7 million in cash and cash equivalents at March 31.

Tronox, an Oklahoma City-based producer and marketer of titanium dioxide pigment, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 12. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-10156.
