Tri-Continental announces Buckley, Jin as co-portfolio managers

Minneapolis, March 2 - Tri-Continental Corp. announced that effective March 2, Oliver E. Buckley and Yan Jin are now co-managers to the corporation, according to a 497 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The two join current co-portfolio managers Brian M. Condon and David L. King.

Before joining Columbia Management in August 2011, Buckley was the head of active equity at Mellon Capital Management.

Jin worked as an investment professional at Management group from 2002 to 2010, when he joined Columbia.

The fund's adviser is Boston-based Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC.
