Tribune debtor wins court OK of $3.85 million Maryland property sale

Pittsburgh, May 23 - Tribune Co. debtor Homestead Publishing Co. received court approval to sell its property at 10750 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, Md., to 175 LLC for $3.85 million, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The property includes a 29,450-square-foot office building and about 2.18 acres of real property. Previously the property housed a local newspaper publishing business that was consolidated and moved to a new location.

Tribune, a Chicago-based media company, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 8, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-13141.
