By Lisa Kerner

Charlotte, N.C., May 5 - Tribune Co. debtor Homestead Publishing Co. asked the court to approve the sale of its property at 10750 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, Md., to 175 LLC for $3.85 million under a May 3 purchase and sale agreement, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

A hearing is set for May 25.

The property includes a 29,450-square-foot office building and about 2.18 acres of real property. Previously the property housed a local newspaper publishing business that was consolidated and moved to a new location.

Tribune, a Chicago-based media company, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 8, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-13141.
