Tribune's plan hearing continued; examiner report deadline extended

Charlotte, N.C., July 1 - Tribune Co.'s plan of reorganization confirmation hearing has been continued to Aug. 30, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

A status conference with respect to the hearing is set for Aug. 9.

The court also extended the deadline for court-appointed examiner Kenneth N. Klee, Esq., to file his report to July 26, from July 12.

Tribune, a Chicago-based media company, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 8, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-13141.
