Trenwick Group Ltd., LaSalle Re Holdings Chapter 11 cases dismissed

Washington, Nov. 4 - The Chapter 11 cases of Trenwick Group Ltd. and LaSalle Re Holdings Ltd. have been dismissed, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

The cases were being jointly administered with Trenwick America Corp., which has filed its reorganization plan.

The order does not become effective until the Bermuda Supreme Court enters an order giving the joint provisional liquidators full control of the Bermuda-based insurance companies.

Trenwick filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 20, 2003. Its Chapter 11 case number is 03-12635.
