Fitch affirms Transurban Finance
Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the long-term rating of Transurban Finance Co. Pty Ltd.'s unenhanced senior secured debt issues and the ratings on the credit-wrapped notes at A-.
The debt securities include the company's:
• A$195 million of working capital facilities maturing in 2010, A$320 million of working bank facilities maturing in 2011, A$600 million of term bank facilities maturing in 2012, 2014 and 2017;
• A$150 million unwrapped bonds maturing in 2009, A$200 million unwrapped bonds maturing in 2011, A$100 million unwrapped bonds maturing in 2011, A$600 million MBIA credit-wrapped bonds maturing in 2015 and 2017;
• $100 million U.S. private placement tranche A notes maturing in 2014, $38.9 million U.S. private placement tranche B notes maturing in 2016, $108.6 million U.S. private placement tranche C notes maturing in 2019;
• A$72 million U.S. private placement tranche D maturing in 2019, $98 million U.S. private placement tranche A notes maturing in 2015, $125.5 million U.S. private placement tranche B maturing in 2017, $156.5 million U.S. private placement tranche C maturing in 2020, $49.5 million U.S. private placement tranche A maturing in 2016; and
• $157.1 million U.S. private placement tranche B maturing in 2018, $140.1 million U.S. private placement tranche C maturing in 2021 and $58.0 million U.S. private placement tranche D maturing in 2026.
The outlook is stable.
The ratings recognize the continuing financial robustness and the cash-flow strength of Transurban's underlying portfolio of mature toll road assets in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, Fitch said, and the expectation of sustained revenue growth from these assets.
