Investor Jack Schuler doubles stake in Transition Therapeutics

Philadelphia, Oct. 16 - Jack W. Schuler and the Schuler Family Foundation nearly doubled their stake in Transition Therapeutics Inc. as of Oct. 10, according to an SC 13G/A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Schuler reported a 12.77% passive stake, representing 2,962,323 shares.

He previously reported that his investment in the Toronto-based biopharmaceutical company rose above the 5% reporting threshold on March 20, 2008 when he held a passive stake of 6.54%, according to an earlier SC 13G filing.
