Knoxville, Tenn., June 25 - TransAtlantic Petroleum Corp. settled a C$162.32 million private placement of shares on Monday, according to an 8-K filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company sold 98,377,300 common shares at C$1.65 per share.

Calgary, Alta.-based TransAtlantic is an oil and natural gas exploration company.
