Trailer Bridge withdraws exclusivity extension motion, could re-file

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Feb. 22 - Trailer Bridge, Inc. has withdrawn a motion filed on Feb. 16 for an extension to its exclusive periods for filing and soliciting votes on a plan of reorganization, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.

The motion was withdrawn "without prejudice to later re-filing."

In the motion, Trailer Bridge had asked the court to extend its exclusive filing period to May 14 from March 15 and the solicitation period to July 17 from May 18.

Trailer Bridge, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based trucking and marine transportation company, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 16. Its Chapter 11 case number is 11-08348.
