S&P ups Toys 'R' Us certificates

Standard & Poor's said it corrected its rating on the $13 million class A-1 certificates issued by corporate backed trust certificates Toys "R" Us Debenture-Backed Series 2001-31 Trust, raising it to B from B-.

The rating on the certificates is based solely on the rating assigned to the underlying securities, the 8.75% debentures due Sept. 1, 2021, issued by Toys "R" Us Delaware Inc., the agency noted.

S&P added that this correction follows the Dec. 17 affirmation of the B rating on Toys "R" Us Delaware Inc.
