Tobacco Settlement Financing, La., calls 2001A & B asset-backed bonds

Milwaukee, April 30 - The Tobacco Settlement Financing Corp. of Louisiana gave notice that it will redeem all of its series 2001A taxable and a portion of its series 2001B tax-exempt tobacco settlement asset-backed bonds.

The bonds due 2030 will be redeemed on May 15 at par, plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.

To be redeemed are all $18.21 million outstanding 2001A 6.36% bonds due 2025 and $20.75 million of $230.39 million outstanding 2001B 5.5% bonds due 2030.
