ThyssenKrupp launches €1.25 billion notes due October 2019 at mid-swaps plus 215 bps

Portland, Ore., Feb. 19 - German steelmaker ThyssenKrupp AG (Ba1/BB/BB+) launched a €1.25 billion offering of senior notes due Oct. 25, 2019 at a 215 basis points spread to mid-swaps on Wednesday, according to a market source.

Earlier spread talk was 220 bps.

The deal is set to price shortly.

BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole CIB, Deutsche Bank and SEB are leading the sale.

Deutsche Bank will bill and deliver.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
