Moody’s views thyssenkrupp positively
Moody’s Investors Service said it revised its outlook for thyssenkrupp AG (tk) to positive from stable and affirmed the Ba3 ratings on the company and its senior unsecured notes.
"Today's change of tk's outlook to positive recognizes the ongoing discipline in the company's capital allocation with further evidence of an operational turnaround," Martin Fujerik, Moody's lead analyst for tk, in a press release.
"The rating action does not factor in a conclusion of a sale or a partnership that tk has been seeking for its steel Europe and marine systems segments for a few years now, which is an event risk. The uncertainties about the future operational setup and capital structure remain a key credit challenge," Fujerik added.
